Maintain equipment profiles and track imaging locations
When a project spans several seasons, it helps to know which telescope, camera and site produced each session. Equipment and location profiles keep that information with your imaging record.
Equipment profiles
A profile describes your telescope (focal length, aperture, optical design), your camera (sensor size, resolution, pixel size), your filters (bandpass, manufacturer), and the mount and other accessories. Each session remembers the equipment that was used, so you can see the history of every piece of gear.
Locations
Add every place you image from: a home observatory, a remote site, a dark sky location. For each location you see which projects are close to completion, which site has been your most productive, an activity heatmap over time, the cloud cover and weather, and which targets are best from there.
